This is where I share the ideas, inspirations, discoveries, and experiences that shape my work at Lorayne Style.  It’s where we look beyond the finished garment and explore the creative journey that brings it to life—from the first inspiration and initial sketch to patternmaking, fabric selection, construction, fitting, and ultimately, the finished design.

But The Designer’s Journal is about more than clothing.

It is about creativity, craftsmanship, style, and the beautiful freedom that comes with continuing to evolve.

I’ll share stories from my design journey, lessons I’ve learned along the way, glimpses into my studio, thoughts about fashion and fit, and the inspirations behind my collections and patterns.

I’ll also explore something that has become central to my own philosophy:
